The Street of Murals: an evocative and fascinating route, suspended between art and history, that winds through the villages of Fratta and Colmaggiore. Over the years, numerous murals dedicated to popular culture, the daily life of the past, with its ancient trades, and the emigration that marked the territory until after World War II have been created on the walls of the houses. 16 works, created between 2008 and 2016, tell the story of a community and its history. The oldest forest in the world: following archaeological excavations, some 100 fossilised larch trunks of up to 4 m with roots, dating back some 15,000 years, were found.
