Sarmede – Torrente Ruio

Sentiero Pagnoca (1061): a historical-educational itinerary that follows the route followed on 26 March 1944 by the Montaner partisans in their first ascent in Cansiglio. It starts from the Montaner square and reaches Col Alt via the Sentiero del Santo (Saint’s Path).

Sentiero del Santo (Saint’s Path): starts from the Piazza di Montaner and overlaps with a mule track that climbs the mountain in the direction of Cansiglio. The path was once used by the people of Montaner to bring hay from the mountain pastures, timber and for transhumance to the village.
