From the 11th to the 15th century there was a manor house on the top of the hill, called the Castle Hill, which has now disappeared. Next to it was a small church, which was later enlarged and served as the parish church until 1748 when a new church, located in the main square of the village, was inaugurated.
This church was destroyed in the Great War, and in its place a War Memorial was built and inaugurated in 1925 with a chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows on the upper floor and an Ossuary Crypt on the lower floor where the remains of various Vidorese Fallen of the two World Wars rest.
