REGIONAL OBSERVATORY FOR THE LANDSCAPE OF THE HILLS OF 'ALTA MARCA

The Management Committee of the Regional Observatory for the Landscape of the Upper March Hills is chaired by Prof. Roberto Masiero and is composed of: Paola Balliana, Enrico de Mori, Mattia Perencin, Danilo Riponti and Giancarlo Scottà .
The Observatory’s area of responsibility currently covers 18 municipalities. However, it is intended to check whether there are conditions to expand the scope and make it coincide with the territory of the hills that has been granted Unesco recognition.
Among its activities, the Observatory recognizes the role of landscape in contributing to the well-being and consolidation of people’s identity and promotes good practices that enhance it as a resource; aims to broaden sharing on policies for landscape conservation and enhancement; and promotes knowledge of its landscapes, the dynamics that originated them and that transform them.
